Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
Your private morocco eclipse 2027 grand tour morocco starts in Tangier. We welcome you at the airport or port and transfer you in a private air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced Amazigh driver. This eclipse tour morocco is built around the path of totality with smooth, flexible drives.

Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Drive through the Rif via Tetouan, a UNESCO-listed medina with strong Andalusian character and a lively artisan quarter. The route takes about 2 to 3 hours with photo and tea stops where you want.
Climb to Chefchaouen, the blue city, for a relaxed evening among blue-washed streets, rooftop cafes and mountain views. Overnight in Chefchaouen. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 3: Chefchaouen Viewpoints & Eclipse Preparation
Morning in Chefchaouen for photos and a short Rif walk. With your driver we scout open horizons and agree on two or three eclipse-morning options inside the path of totality.
Afternoon at leisure to rest, photograph the blue streets, or hike a short trail. Overnight in Chefchaouen, inside totality. Breakfast included.
Day 4: Total Solar Eclipse Day — Private Logistics
On August 2, 2027 we move before dawn to our selected viewing area inside the path of totality. Our team handles transport, timing and parking so you can focus on the total solar eclipse. After totality we continue toward Fes via Ouazzane and Volubilis when roads clear.

Day 5: Volubilis, Meknes & Fes
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis — remarkably preserved Roman mosaics dating back to AD 40 — then Meknes, the imperial city of Moulay Ismail with Bab Mansour and Place El Hedim.
Continue to Fes for an evening introduction to Fes el Bali. Your private driver keeps drives in 2 to 3 hour blocks with flexible stops. Overnight in Fes. Breakfast included.
Day 6: Fes Guided Discovery
Full-day guided tour in Fes el Bali: the Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, tanneries, souks and a medina panorama from a terrace. Tastings and artisan workshops where you want to linger.

Day 7: Cedar Forests to Sahara — Ziz Valley to Merzouga
Via Ifrane known as the Switzerland of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou home to wild Barbary macaques, then down the spectacular Ziz Valley palm oasis to the Sahara gate of Merzouga — about 7 to 8 hours with breaks, split into comfortable segments.
In the late afternoon leave the vehicle for a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset to your private luxury desert camp with a private tent and private bathroom. Dinner, Berber drums and stars. Dinner and breakfast included.
Day 8: Sahara Exploration — Khamlia & Dunes
Morning 4x4 among dunes, palm oases and black desert plateaus. Visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music — hypnotic rhythms from descendants of sub-Saharan communities — and meet nomad families who still live in tents.
If water levels allow, stop at the seasonal lake of Merzouga for birdwatching. Sunset over Erg Chebbi and optional sandboarding. Second night in your private desert camp. Dinner and breakfast included.
Day 9: Merzouga Sunrise — Todra & Dades Valley
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes and ride your camel back to Merzouga to rejoin your driver. Large luggage stays in the vehicle — you only need a small overnight bag for the camp.
Drive via Rissani, the fossil town of Erfoud and Todra Gorge — 300 meter vertical walls over the river — to Dades Valley among kasbahs and palm groves. Overnight in Dades. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 10: Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech via High Atlas
Through the film studios of Ouarzazate to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou — a fortified ksar of clay and stone on the caravan route. Short walk through the kasbah for photos.
Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n Tichka pass at 2,260 meters to Marrakech. Evening arrival in the red city. Overnight in Marrakech. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 11: Marrakech Immersion
Discover Marrakech at a comfortable pace: Majorelle Garden, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia viewpoint and Jemaa el-Fnaa with souks and spices. Your driver builds in shade and tea stops and avoids shopping traps.
Afternoon free to shop, relax at your riad or explore further. Overnight in Marrakech. Breakfast included.
Day 12: Essaouira Atlantic Coast & Departure
Short coastal transfer of about 2.5 to 3 hours to Essaouira — whitewashed medina, ramparts, fishing port and fresh seafood. Sea breeze after desert and city days.
Transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca for departure or extend your stay on the coast. The private tour adapts to your flights and interests. Breakfast included.

The best tour guide you'll find!
I don't normally give reviews let alone 5 star ones but Hassan and his team have gone so far above my expectations from a tour company I thought they more then deserved it. As a Solo traveler I was or course concerned about safety. So what made me go with them? Morocco amazing destinations was responsive on the phone transparent and fair with their prices, but it was more than that. They gave me traveling tips and we're always a phone call away if I had a question or needed a place to stay. Unfortunately the first few days of my trip I was sick I wasn't feeling well enough to start the tour when I communicated this to the company their primary concern was me feeling better and enjoying my trip and they didn't even ask for a compensation fee even though they had driven all the way out there. I was really touched by this and called them a couple days later to continue the tour. The tour guide takes you in like one of his family showing you his home his community and tradition. Something I can say as an American we don't really have an abundance. The openness of the people to share what they have connect to you and how they live with one another was really an experience for me. If any of what I'm saying speaks to you book your tour with them and no further for a good experience in Morocco.
