Day 1: Tangier โ Tetouan โ Chefchaouen โ Fes
Your journey begins with a pickup from the port or airport in Tangier. We'll explore the Heraclius cave and the old town's unique architecture. We then continue to Tetouan, the 'white pigeon', before heading to the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains.
In Chefchaouen, a local guide will show you around the fascinating town. You'll discover the history of Haouta Square and wander through the narrow, plant-filled streets. You will also have time to shop for local handicrafts. After Chefchaouen, we travel to Meknes to see sights like the Sahrij Swani basin, Bab Mansour, and the lively Lhdim square.
We will also visit the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your day concludes in the imperial city of Fes, where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Fez โ Ifrane โ Midelt โ Erfoud โ Rissani to Camel Ride in Merzouga Desert
After breakfast in Fes, the scientific and spiritual capital of Morocco, we head out to explore more of the country. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco' for its alpine-style architecture and snowy winters. We then visit Azrou, a Berber town in the Cedar Forest, where you can see Barbary monkeys.
We travel towards Merzouga, passing through the Tizi N Talghmet pass. You'll see the vast Ziz Oasis, the largest in Morocco, known for its sweet dates. We'll also pass through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils and date market.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will embark on a camel trek into the desert to witness a spectacular sunset. The day ends with a night in an equipped desert camp, enjoying Berber drums under a canopy of stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert โ Rissani โ Erfoud โ Todra Gorges to Dades Valley
Wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, you'll ride your camel back to Merzouga. From there, we travel through small Berber villages towards Tinghir and the impressive Todra Gorges.
The Todra Gorges are a stunning valley with high cliffs that attract climbers from all over the world. It's a wonderful place to have lunch and enjoy the sound of the river.
In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the Dades Valley and Boumalne Dades. You'll have opportunities to take photos of the stunning landscapes before we settle in for the night at a hotel in the Dades Gorges.
Day 4: Dades Valley โ Ouarzazate โ Ait Benhaddou โ Marrakech
After a delicious Berber breakfast, we'll explore the Dades Valley, with its thousands of kasbahs. We then travel to Kalaat M'gouna, the city of roses, where a festival is held annually. We will visit the Amridil Kasbah before reaching Ouarzazate.
In Ouarzazate, the 'Hollywood of Africa', we will visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site where many famous movies were filmed, including Gladiator and The Mummy. We will also see the Kasbah of Telouet, the former residence of the Glaoui.

The best Berbers in the desert
"100X100 recommended, Both Hassan and Hamid amazing, has not been my first experience but if the best, you live exactly what life is in the desert and I will definitely repeat with them I have no doubt. He offered us at home a real Berber meal, very hospitable family. We adore you"
