Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes
Your driver will meet you at Tangier airport or port. We drive to Chefchaouen, the blue town. Walk its blue streets and enjoy the small shops.
After a short visit, we continue to Volubilis to see the well-preserved Roman ruins (UNESCO site). Then we drive to Fes and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Fes.
Day 2: Full day in Fes
Meet your local guide and explore Fes el-Bali (the old medina). Walk the narrow lanes and visit Al Qarawiyyin University, the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and the colorful tanneries.
See the Royal Palace from outside, visit the Batha Museum and Moulay Idriss shrine area. Return to your riad for the night.
Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast we leave Fes. Stop in Ifrane, a mountain town sometimes called 'Moroccan Switzerland'. See cedar trees and feed the friendly Barbary monkeys near Azrou.
Continue through the Ziz Valley toward Erfoud and the Sahara. In the evening meet your camel guide and ride into the dunes to watch the sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga - Desert excursion and hotel night
After breakfast in the camp, drive around the Merzouga area. Visit nomad families behind the dunes, share tea with them and try a simple Berber pizza.
See Hassi Ibeid oasis and enjoy views of the dunes. In the afternoon we return to a desert hotel with a pool where you will sleep the night.
Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Midelt
Leave Merzouga after breakfast and visit Rissani market. Rissani is a lively market town near the dunes. Visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.
Stop in Erfoud to see local fossil workshops. Then cross the Middle Atlas mountains and reach Midelt for the night.
Day 6: Midelt - Azrou - Meknes - Rabat
After breakfast drive to Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Visit the main sights and the old medina.
Continue to Rabat, the capital city, and check in to your hotel for the night.
Day 7: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier
In Rabat visit Chellah, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, Muhammad V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower with your guide. Lunch in Rabat.
Drive along the coast and stop in Asilah to walk its white-walled medina. Then continue to Tangier and spend the night there.
Day 8: Tangier - Departure
After breakfast we transfer you to Tangier airport or the port according to your departure time. This ends the tour and our services.
