Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Your private eclipse tour morocco starts in Marrakech. We pick you up at the airport or your riad and transfer you in a private air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced Amazigh driver. This morocco eclipse 2027 route is designed to maximize viewing chances while keeping drives smooth and flexible.
Depending on arrival time, enjoy a gentle walk through the medina and Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Your driver shares the plan for the week and answers practical questions. Overnight in Marrakech. Dinner on your own, breakfast included from tomorrow.
Private transfer, assistance from our local team Hassan, Hamid and Andrea, and time to settle in without rushing.
Day 2: Discover Marrakech โ Palaces, Gardens & Souks
Explore Marrakech with a flexible rhythm: the Koutoubia Mosque viewpoint, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Garden and the artisan souks. Your driver paces the day, builds in shade and tea stops, and avoids the crowds where possible.
The medina is best in short blocks โ 1 to 2 hours of walking, then a terrace for mint tea. You choose how deep to go. Overnight in Marrakech. Breakfast included.
Day 3: Marrakech โ Chefchaouen โ Journey North into Totality
We leave Marrakech early and head north across plains and Rif foothills toward Chefchaouen โ about 9 to 10 hours driving with stops, split into comfortable blocks. The goal is to sleep inside the path of totality before eclipse morning.
We pause for photos, lunch and leg-stretching where you want. No shopping stops, no forced visits. Overnight in Chefchaouen. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 4: Chefchaouen โ Blue City & Eclipse Preparation
Unpack Chefchaouen at your pace: the Kasbah, the lively square and the Spanish Mosque viewpoint for a wide horizon. The town is compact and calm โ ideal for rest before the eclipse.
In the afternoon we scout open horizons and weather options with your driver and agree on two or three eclipse-morning viewpoints. Overnight in Chefchaouen, inside the path of totality. Breakfast included.
Day 5: Total Solar Eclipse Day โ Private Logistics, Your Viewing
We move before dawn to our selected viewing area inside the path of totality. Our team handles transport, timing and parking so you can focus on the total solar eclipse. After totality we begin the journey south when roads clear.
This is a sahara desert tour combined with an eclipse โ so we balance eclipse viewing with a calm transfer south. Overnight en route near Dades or Midelt depending on traffic. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 6: Atlas Crossing โ Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Valley
We cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n Tichka pass at 2,260 meters, then reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. We stop for photos and a short walk through the ksar.
Continue to Dades Valley with its palm oases, kasbahs and rose fields. This private tour avoids long bus blocks โ we break drives into 2 to 3 hour segments. Overnight in Dades Valley. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 7: Dades โ Merzouga โ Camel Trek & Sahara Desert Camp
Drive to Merzouga via Todra Gorge and Erfoud โ palm valleys, date oases and desert plateaus along the way. In the late afternoon leave the vehicle for a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset.
Arrive at your private luxury desert camp with a private tent and private bathroom. Enjoy dinner, Berber drums around the fire and a night under the stars. Dinner and breakfast included.
Day 8: Merzouga Sunrise & Departure โ Extend on Request
Wake early if you wish for sunrise over the dunes, then ride your camel back to Merzouga and rejoin your driver. Large luggage stays in the vehicle โ you only need a small overnight bag for the camp.
Continue to Marrakech, Fes or Casablanca for your departure, or extend with Essaouira and more time in Marrakech. The itinerary is fully tailor-made to your flights and interests. Breakfast included.

What our travelers say
Reviews from TripAdvisor
The best tour guide you'll find!
I don't normally give reviews let alone 5 star ones but Hassan and his team have gone so far above my expectations from a tour company I thought they more then deserved it. As a Solo traveler I was or course concerned about safety. So what made me go with them? Morocco amazing destinations was responsive on the phone transparent and fair with their prices, but it was more than that. They gave me traveling tips and we're always a phone call away if I had a question or needed a place to stay. Unfortunately the first few days of my trip I was sick I wasn't feeling well enough to start the tour when I communicated this to the company their primary concern was me feeling better and enjoying my trip and they didn't even ask for a compensation fee even though they had driven all the way out there. I was really touched by this and called them a couple days later to continue the tour. The tour guide takes you in like one of his family showing you his home his community and tradition. Something I can say as an American we don't really have an abundance. The openness of the people to share what they have connect to you and how they live with one another was really an experience for me. If any of what I'm saying speaks to you book your tour with them and no further for a good experience in Morocco.
Do you want Quality Service? Would you like to feel welcomed? Choose this company, you won't be disappointed ๐๐พ๐ซถ๐พ
If I could rate this company with 20 stars that would not be enough!!! From the moment we arrived they treated us with so much respect and you can tell they take pride in the service they provide. Hamid my expert driver and friend was nothing short of extraordinary. His attention to detail and character blew me away. I found myself getting emotional any time he would go above and beyond to ensure my comfortability. Hamid I cannot thank you enough, you my friend are something special. To your boss Hassan, thank you for pairing me with this talented young man. We will be back God willing in July but ONLY if Hamid will accommodate us. I will name my son after him - The real Fatimah
Spectacular experience 100% recommended
The service of our guide Hassan has been excellent. At all times we have felt accompanied by him, feeling him as a friend who has made the journey with us and who has transmitted to us the passion for his work, his country, his people and especially his Berber culture.
