Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrive at Marrakech Airport, where your driver will welcome you and transfer you to your riad. After settling in, enjoy a free evening to wander through the Medina and watch the sunset from a rooftop terrace overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley

Begin your journey across the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the panoramic viewpoint of Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,205m). Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou, a striking ksar of earthen buildings surrounded by defensive walls.

After lunch, visit Kelaat M'Gouna in the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose products. End the day in Dades Valley, enjoying its dramatic rock formations and lush landscapes.

Overnight in Dades.

Day 3: Dades - Todra Gorge - Merzouga Desert Camp

Travel through breathtaking canyons, including the Todra and Dades Gorges, renowned for their towering cliffs. Pass through Tinghir Oasis, a lush palm grove amidst desert landscapes.

Arrive in Merzouga, where you'll embark on a camel trek into the Sahara to witness a stunning sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, complete with private facilities and traditional Berber hospitality.

Day 4: Sahara Excursion - Merzouga

After breakfast in the camp, explore the Merzouga region. Visit a nomadic Berber family to learn about traditional carpet weaving, food preservation, and desert life.

Continue to Khamlia Village, home to Gnawa musicians of West African descent. Enjoy a local lunch and optional desert activities such as quad biking or dune buggies.

Overnight in a riad in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Ouarzazate

Visit Rissani, known for its traditional market selling spices, dates, and handicrafts. Continue to Erfoud, the "Fossil Capital" of Morocco, famous for its prehistoric marine fossils and unique artisan workshops.

Drive through desert landscapes to Ouarzazate, the "Gateway to the Sahara," and check into your riad for the night.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Essaouira

Visit the Atlas Film Studios, where Hollywood blockbusters have been filmed. Drive through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass again, passing argan tree groves and small Berber villages.

Arrive in Essaouira, a charming coastal city with whitewashed medina walls, sandy beaches, and vibrant fishing culture. Evening free to explore.

Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 7: Essaouira - Free Day

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Essaouira. Explore the UNESCO-listed Medina, stroll along the Skala de la Ville ramparts, visit local art galleries, and savor fresh seafood by the harbor.

Relax on the beach or try windsurfing and kitesurfing. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 8: Essaouira - Marrakech City Tour - Departure

Return to Marrakech (approx. 3 hours) and enjoy a guided city tour of The Red City. Discover highlights such as the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.

Stroll through the Medina's bustling souks before your transfer to the airport for departure.
